The Social Dil-EMMA

Hi! Welcome to my blog! My name is Emma Santizo. All my life when I tell people about my beliefs they are shocked or weirded out. I am the social Dil-EMMA. To tell another teenager that I don't celebrate holidays or my birthday, and that I'm only going to date until I am ready to get married is a social dilemma because they just don't understand. For me not celebrating holidays is totally okay because I understand the reasons behind the not celebrating part of it. Most people celebrate holidays just for the fun of it, not caring about the history or beliefs behind it, but for me, I can't just partake in something for the fun of it and just forget all about the reasoning behind it. For me the social aspect of school has always had times when I need to explain or stand up for my beliefs.
